Overview:

We seek a detail-oriented and proficient ad hoc analyst/spreadsheets expert to join our team. While expertise in spreadsheet software and financial analysis is essential for this role, experience in inventory management will be considered a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to generate actionable insights from data.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced spreadsheet skills to develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, reports, and analysis tools.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for adhoc projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in inventory management activities, including analyzing stock levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing inventory turnover.
  • Support developing and maintaining inventory tracking systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management processes.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as management assigns, leveraging financial and inventory expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) and financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience in inventory management is considered a significant advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all work.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote

Rate of Pay: $40.00 an hour
